Brussels Counselling – Fees and Terms

This is a private practice. No GP referral is needed and there is no waiting list. Sessions reflect the specialist level of clinical training and experience — 25 years of practice, Harley Street training, 20 years of EMDR experience, and doctoral-level expertise in eating disorders — that Dr Jacquet brings to every appointment.

Sessions and Fees

Individual psychotherapy, EMDR and counselling sessions are 50 minutes. Initial consultations are available for those who wish to explore whether this is the right practice before committing to ongoing work.

Please contact the practice directly for current fee information. Fees are confirmed at the point of booking.

Online Sessions

All Brussels-based sessions take place via secure, encrypted video link. Fees are the same as for in-person sessions. Technical requirements are a stable internet connection and a private space — nothing more.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of each session by bank transfer or card. Receipts are provided and can be submitted to private health insurers or, where applicable, to employer health benefit programmes.

Insurance

Dr Jacquet is recognised by a number of private medical insurers operating in the UK and Europe. Expatriate insurance policies vary considerably — please check with your insurer before your first session. The practice can provide the documentation your insurer requires.

Cancellation

Sessions cancelled with fewer than 24 hours’ notice are charged in full. The time reserved cannot be reallocated at short notice. This policy is applied consistently.

Confidentiality

Everything discussed in sessions is held in strict confidence. Nothing is shared with any third party — employer, insurer, institution or otherwise — without explicit consent. This applies without exception.
