Dr Philippe Jacquet is an integrative psychotherapist and Jungian analyst with more than twenty-five years of clinical practice in London. The work spans the full range of adult psychotherapy, from anxiety, depression and bereavement to the more complex and specialist areas of addiction, eating disorders and trauma. Sessions take place in person at the practice’s London consulting rooms and online by secure video, in English and French.

Psychotherapy across London

The practice is rooted in central London, with consulting rooms on Harley Street and in Central London at 45 Fitzroy Street W1, and further rooms in Bermondsey in the south east of the city. Many clients are seen online, which makes the same senior clinical work available wherever they happen to live or travel.

Jungian analysis and integrative psychotherapy

What distinguishes this practice is depth. Alongside an integrative approach drawn from several therapeutic traditions, Dr Jacquet is a trained Jungian analyst, which means the work can go beyond symptom management to the deeper questions of meaning, identity and what a difficulty is really asking of a person. You can read more about Jungian analysis and what psychotherapy actually involves.

Areas of specialist work

Within general psychotherapy there are several areas of particular expertise. Dr Jacquet trained at the Hazelden Foundation and works extensively with addiction. He holds a Doctorate of Professional Practice and is the only clinician in Europe to have completed doctoral research on male eating disorders, informing his work with eating disorders. He is also an experienced EMDR practitioner, offering EMDR therapy for trauma, and provides executive coaching for senior leaders.

A French-speaking psychotherapist in London

For London’s large French-speaking community, finding a senior clinician who can work at depth in French is rare. Dr Jacquet practises fully in both languages. This is clinical work in the client’s own language, not a translation service. Read more about the French-speaking practice in London.
