Fees and Terms — Colchester Practice

This is a private practice. No GP referral is needed and there is no waiting list. Fees reflect the specialist level of clinical training and experience that Dr Jacquet brings to every session.

Session Length and Fees

Individual psychotherapy, EMDR, counselling and supervision sessions are 50 minutes. Initial consultations are available for those wishing to explore whether the practice is the right fit before committing to ongoing work.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of each session by bank transfer or card. Receipts are issued and can be submitted to private health insurers where applicable.

Insurance

Dr Jacquet is recognised by a number of private medical insurers. Coverage varies by policy and provider — please check with your insurer before your first session. The practice can provide the documentation your insurer requires.

Cancellation

Sessions cancelled with fewer than 48 hours’ notice are charged in full. The time reserved cannot be reallocated at short notice. This policy is applied consistently.

Online Sessions

Online sessions are available for clients in Colchester and across Essex who prefer to work via secure video link. Fees are the same as for in-person sessions.

Confidentiality

Everything discussed in sessions is held in strict confidence. Nothing is shared with any third party without explicit consent, except where a narrow legal obligation applies — and those circumstances are explained clearly at the outset.
